| Diagnosis: | Genus Eulalia in Family Phyllodocidae.
Median antenna present, well back on prostomium (between eyes). Tentacular cirri more or less same shape, one dorsal on first segment, two on second, and third with dorsal cirrus and normal ventral parapodium with chaetae. Ventral cirrus small, smaller than neuropodium. Dorsal cirrus conical. Proboscis uniformly covered with dome-like papillae, terminating in ring of 14 larger papillae. A buttress-like extension of parapodia onto a ridge continuous across the dorsum may be apparent. Colour: Characteristic intense dark green dorsally with pale dorsal cirri. One pair of dark red eyes. Maximum size: 180 mm total length, 4 mm body width. |

| Comparisons: | Eulalia NIWA-2 lacks chaetae on segment 3 and has longer tentacular cirri and more leaf-like dorsal cirri, and may be paler. | |||
